For those of us who choose to make their home on the Pacific coast of Costa Rica - we often develop a different criteria for what we consider true luxury. Perhaps it is being able to walk one of the most beautiful beaches in the world every single day. Or to wake to the symphony of jungle that surround you. Howler monkeys, macaws and toucans all sing to greet the day.
All these things can't be found in the concrete jungles many of us made our careers in. Cities have myriad charms, and folks who come here aren't necessarily choosing to leave that all behind. But they often look to create oases for themselves, to unwind, to get in touch with their better selves. And to remember the larger world around them.
Embracing the Luxury of the Natural World
Real estate on the Pacific coast embraces all forms of luxury - the sensory as well as the practical and convenient. Indoor/outdoor living is a strong feature of many homes in the area, often with views to the ocean, pools and decks open to the great living areas. As many homes dot the coast, these will often face to the west to offer stunning sunset views.
Modern, concrete construction is the norm, with impressive positioning on hillsides to make the most of the elevations that span the coastline.
All in all, a home along the coast in the Central Pacific region of Costa Rica is guaranteed to become your personal oasis.
